My Philosophy

Our bodies are fluid and dynamic. Optimal health occurs when we are able to respond, recover from, and adapt appropriately to changing external, internal, and emotional events. Our innate ability to heal occurs spontaneously. We manifest a sense of balance in the world, move with ease, enjoy healthy food and drink without digestive problems, sleep well, and wake refreshed.

When our natural healing ability is overwhelmed, we experience pain, illness, loss of function, and emotional distress. This can occur due to numerous causes, with varying degrees of severity. Traditional Asian Medicine (TAM) can help with many conditions, including: acute injuries, chronic pain, digestive disorders, insomnia, stress, anxiety, menstrual disorders, and symptoms of colds and flu. The goal of acupuncture and TAM is to address, on a personalized basis, both the symptoms and the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction to improve the body's ability to maintain balance and harmony.

I am a California state licensed acupuncturist. My interests in nutrition, herbal therapy, psychology, massage therapy, and health through natural principles led me to study Traditional Oriental Medicine as a comprehensive healing art. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emperor's College with a Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM).
